Makaki Music announces that Wrapped in Paper, Sofia Talvik’s Christmas album, is out today on all platforms. The album marks the conclusion of Sofia’s twenty-year tradition of releasing an annual Christmas single.

The album gathers seven years of holiday songs — two new originals and a new open-tuning arrangement of “Silent Night” alongside fan favourites — closing with Merry Christmas, Adios, So Long, Sofia’s farewell to the tradition.
The final new track, “Let Peace Be the Song”, is a stripped-back folk protest song — guitar and voice only — reflecting on the weariness of watching injustice unfold. The rest of the album balances this with warmth and beauty, including the soaring violin arrangement of “Silent Night.”
