Makaki Music is thrilled to announce Wrapped in Paper — Sofia Talvik’s new Christmas album collecting 12 songs, including three brand-new tracks. Wrapped in Paper gathers Sofia’s holiday songs written since 2017, including two new originals and an open-tuning cover of “Silent Night.” It captures the quieter, more emotional side of Christmas — stories of hope, humanity, and reflection.
Makaki Music is also announcing the release of a new album from Sofia’s side project Hansan — a collection of songs in Swedish featuring a duet with Swedish rock poet Stefan Sundström, out November 24th at hansanmusic.com.
To celebrate, Sofia will embark on her annual Winter Concert Tour, opening at the House of Sweden in Washington, D.C. before continuing to Germany with Regina Mudrich on violin and Martin Zemke on bass for select dates.
